  What do you do if someone insults you over mic / chat?
  You just joined the server, and you see a voteban going on. The victim confirms he wasn't griefing (assuming it was a griefing voteban); what do you do?

To the first question i was going to do some background on other apps and tell you what you guys want to hear but im going to take my chances and being honest.

If someone is insulting me over mic/chat, ill ask them using voice and chat to stop, ill kick them out of the server with a warning message " Please Respect Other Players" if he rejoins and keep doing it ( at this point ill have unmuted him) ill issue a temporary ban.
This is all if is not a racial insult which is a 1day first offence ban.

To the second question, Ill let the vote continue and do some background on the incident. find out who started the vote and watch him for x amount of time.

I admire your honesty but: insults are actually plain allowed, as long as it's not racism, homophobia, insults to religion...
As an admin you should just ignore it if you get insulted (which happens way more than you think).

( at this point ill have unmuted him), this is only if they are not using a discriminatory insult if so then ill issue a temporary ban."

as prof of this you can see the nonsense ( at this point ill have unmuted him) in my original post.


Yes, I still remember and actually see how admins get picked on just for being admins. after all is part of the job.

I don't know if you misworded your answer but that part is what you shouldn't specifically do in case of regular insulting.

yes sir. i understand, insults are no punishable offence unless they are discriminatory insults, such as race, sex preference etc.
and in the case of being insult as an admin i shall not use my privileges against the offender, unless is a discriminatory insult.

If is a illegal spray as posted on the Server rules

• Illegal sprays.
  • Example: lolicon porn, child porn, etc

The following major offenses will still result in a permanent punishment.

• Hacking
• Posting illegal information/sprays
• Posting personal information without consent
• Scamming

Then ban will be issue using the command sm_ban "#[U:1:152151756]" 0 "Illegal Spray"

Then nothing shall be done as porn spray are not against the rules unless they fit into the category mentioned on the server rules.

It's been nearly 2 months since you've gotten any support. Reapply if you still have an incentive to become an admin with more support.
