Most of you know me as I have been part of the Skial community for a few years. I joined the forum last year after playing on Skial servers for some time prior to that. I have been a donator for as long as I can remember being a part of the forums. I started thinking about applying for admin last winter, but wanted to wait until I reached my one year mark here as I like to be prepared and know what I am getting into prior to making the leap.
Background: I am a 35 year old mother of two and a Park Ranger. I like to play video games(obviously), softball. volleyball, hike, kayak, build computers and hang with my kiddos.
I believe there are a few reasons I would be a good addition to the admin team here at Skial. coming from a law enforcement background I look strictly to facts prior to making decisions. If I can deal with being spit on by drunks then I can handle anything the forums/servers can throw at me. I am by nature a nice person, but I can flip the switch when needed and change my tone. I also strive to be a good member of this community and be mindful of what I choose to post.
The main reason I want to be a Forum Mod/Tf2 admin is for the community itself. Skial has the best servers, frequented by some of the best players. If I can contribute to make it an enjoyable experience for people while making sure the rules are followed then I will have felt confident in having done my job successfully.
