Hey.

So I've started to donate for just 1 month at the moment to see how it goes. One of the problems I have with the Payload Maps is the the lack of maps. They seem to revolve around Badwater, Upward, and Barnblitz Pro 6.

I recommend removing regular Barnblitz and keeping Barnblitz Pro 6 as the primary map for it. It holds off that choke-point on regular Barnblitz. I also recommend removing Enclosure as well, and maybe even Thundermountain.

I would LOVE to see the following maps added. I've played these maps on other servers, and I think it'll increase more engagement and lead to more donations:

I don't think age of a map or quickplay issues will effect the server at all.

There are about 10 maps now, some of them old, some people will refuse to play. So what's the issue with adding new maps?

Any payload server out there has Metropolis, Cashworks, Pier, etc... and they are great maps.

Sure you'll always find the person who despises the map, but should they dictate what gets played?

Currently there is a lengthy wait at night to get in, so popularity isn't a big issue at the moment.

If anything kills this server, it will be the competition level snipers ruining the gameplay for everyone (that's another issue, another thread).

Having hoodoo or Metropolis or any other very popular map won't ruin the server.

Please do not add metropolis. It still has the glitch on it that when a pyro dies, at last, the flamethrower will fall through and cap the point. People constantly abuse this.

The only maps from the originally posted list are Pier and badwater pro. The rest of them are not good for a 32, fast respawn server or have known glitches that break them.

Thanks for the addition, it was a pleasant surprise. I'm happy to report that we started playing Metropolis last night with a full server....continued playing for 75 minutes with a full server...and finished with a full server.

Lots of people were quite happy and expressed as much on voice chat during the game!

Regarding the final cap glitch - I've played Metropolis on other servers extensively where this did NOT happen ever (though it happened at least twice on Skial last night). Could it be that there is an updated version of Metropolis out there that does NOT feature this glitch, which we could use on the server instead?

I will try to do some research, but TF2 maps aren't my forte...

Metropolis seems to be regarded well by the server. I'm all for adding some new maps into the rotation.

The glitch was done over and over again on Metro today. Multiple people were accused and paranoia started on the server. People started to accuse each other and multiple votes were almost passed to ban people that no one else saw do anything. Please remove the map and add something else from the list that isn't broken. The thing has been out for years and no one has been able to fix it, just let it die.

Yea, I did it once before leaving today. See how easy it was? All I did was die on the point and it triggered it. The glitch will keep happening because people can (and will) do it. They did it when the map was first put on, they did it yesterday, and I'm sure they'll continue to do it.

You really didn't do it to prove a point. You did it to be an ass. We all knew it could be done.

You've really got the point across that you don't like the map last night. But you're one person. The rest of us love the map.

You could've done that on a local server by yourself. We already knew that the exploit was possible, and it already happened anyways.

You didn't accomplish anything besides abusing a known exploit and thus breaking the rules.

Ok, so can we expect you to start using an aimbot to prove to us that maps with sniper sightlines can be exploited? To show us how easy it is and that people can (and will) use hacks?

Or do you only feel like it's ok to cheat and ruin everyone else's fun when it's a map that you, personally, don't like?
