Declined Ability For A Casual To Vote Mute?

My Experience :
I get on The Trade | NY almost Everyday. I always find some kind of guy, that just decides to pick on EVERYONE that speaks on the mic/chat. Sure its annoying, but I usually cant do much about it, because if I reported I some how get ganged up on by others.

For say. ex: youger child says "hey guys im buying weps for 1 scrap" . The suspect says "Shut the F*** kid no one cares kill your family" ---- (as I have heared on this server)

Now this may be off topic but, I would like to suggest: Casuals not being able to votemute.

"OOOOH MY GAWD NO VOTEMUTE OH NO MY EARS!!!! GET THE GUY OUTTA HERE" as the crowed goes xD.

Anyway. I just dont think this should be an option. If we had mods or mods+ on, we WOULD NOT have this problem of bullies, trolls, toxic players.

As my "Rant" continues, im not going to name names, But I have seen multiple toxic players the continueisly decide to get on this trade server, and they KNOW they wont get banned/muted/kicked.
I could or any other staff member could be the one to stop this situation.
One other option is out of this topic: THERE IS A CLIENT MUTE, USE IT! ----- To all the casuals.

And that ends my beautiful friendly rant. :D

As much as I know about and hate the cancer that is the Trade NY regs *and most normal players there in general* I don't support this, sorry. -1. When you're on the server and abusive assholes are on that break the rules a bit just record a demo throughout the time you're there just in case. Seems like a hassle but it will help make sure people like that stay out or stop abusing.

If you want to keep yourself *relatively* anonymous while reporting, take a picture or a demo and make a report the manual way.
 
Usually when I take pics everyone says there is no evidence. Then when I record a demo, I have no idea how to upload it.

Just grab it from the tf folder and upload it to a site like Mediafire.

Also add an admin or just PM them here so people won't know who reported em. ;>

Anyone can start a vote to mute someone. Whether they're casual or regular. This suggestion doesn't make any sense.

Though to any admins who want a good time, try going on trade on the weekend. There's a whole bunch of shit to ban for there.

I think you mixed it up a bit.

On topic: This is no difference on other servers, you always get the "mature" to taunt the "kids". And to my perspective this shows a lack of respect towards younger people. Yes, it can be annoying and yes, we all got to a point where we just muted the invidual, however I personally believe we all have been younger people at some point (correct me if I'm mistaken) and been doing stupid things. Anyone who feels annoyed by them can, like pointed out several times, mute these guys in the main menu rather than abuse of the vote menu, after all most of the kids don't even break the rules as they are just trying to trade their items. These are downsides we all have to live with since it became a Free-2-Play title, yet it helped the activity of the game overall to be fair with. Just my opinion.

The vote menu is there so that in the off chance that someone is actually spamming, they can use the vote menu to mute someone. That said, I've seen plenty of people abuse the menu. Not just casuals but regulars as well. Thank God I finally got my damn computer to work and start recording again. Anyways, if you think someone is abusing the vote menu, record them and report them to Skial.
