Gaben's Own Aimbot
Contributor
So, playing with bots, I seem to end up playing scout against 2 medics on a heavy, with 2 battle medics on my team, and an engineer INTENT on keeping his teleporter alive while our last point is being captured.

I was wondering if we could do the default lineup for bots (2 Scout, 2 Soldier, Demo, Medic) instead of having 2 battle medics and other weird class combos that bots pull off.

Any thoughts?

Bots have alright aim, but god damn if they aren't absolutely retarded.
And that's coming from a man that doesn't even play the game.

What server are you talking about?
All of them. At least the CP ones. Maybe if it's a team on defense there could be a default engy, but firing up Dustbowl in the situation I stated is discouraging. I imagine it's that way to a lot of people who don't like taking on a heavy with good aim and 2 medics on him.

-1 I can only imagine how fast those scout bots would cap points.

Also, aren't thier spawns reactionary?

Also also, class limits in 6s are 1 medic always, one demo always, and a cap of 2 of everything else. You'd still get weird combos.

You prefer a heavy with 2 meds?
The second someone joins, cut the scout out first.

The point of this is because the situations that pop up can be ridiculous. Having 2 engies on offense? Having 2 medics healing a heavy while you're playing pyro? This is keeping people from playing with bots and not leaving.

So, I don't seed anything that isn't turbine. I have never seen 2 engis there. I'll assume you have hard data about 2 engis on offense.

Also, don't they change class when they die?

I have also seen them change classes right after dying

but he was saying they rarely do it, not that they didn't do it at all.

At any rate, it seemed to happen a lot on Turbine+

Yeah... i see em switch every time i kill them.

There's a lot of variables to get the mix right.
Maybe a solution would be to kick the useless bot which is forced to respawn to a random class, rinse and repeat until you have the set up you desire.

lol. So cinic is wrong. Okay. I thought so.

i think this is a great idea. 2 scouts 2 soldiers a medic and demo is a standard lineup and you wont get stupid 2 medics on a heavy situation.

you cant defend against bots?
