    To clarify what I meant in my comment on your report: I didn’t think your original comment alone was enough for a permamute. What surprised me was that you only got a week after how badly you handled the report itself. In my own opinion it looks like the mods ruled purely on the merits of the report which was FAIR - but not how I would have handled it.

    If it were up to me, it would’ve been more like a 3–6 month mute plus a direct apology to Mae before an unmute was even considered.
    Honestly though, if you hadn’t doubled down with the extra offensive stuff afterwards and had just given a sincere apology directly to @Mae Day (which I think you should still do over PMs), I don’t think you’d be muted at all right now.
