Lamps finally in, warming the tank up nicely.
Over ten larvae now, and that's just day one. Wonder what I'll wake up to. Gonna leave the tank for about a week, that should give them all a chance to hatch. Then hopefully they molt the week after and I can pick them out gently to clean it allleast negative reaction score guy here

Well, the days finally come. All my crickets are about to die
As the newest generation begins to emerge. Just seen my first baby crick as I was cleaning the tank, just in time for the lamp to turn up. Absolutely saddened about having to dispose of my current generation, but their accomplishments will live on
Finally got a heat lamp on the way, that should be here around 2 tomorrow, hopefully it's not too damp in the enclosure. Woodlice are booming in population, crickets are decreasing, and the springtails now own the bottom of the tank
Just hoping now it'll last at least until I get paid so I can hopefully see some baby cricks
Eggs should be hatching any time this week or next now. Should probably prepare the tank to provide for them, and stop the remaining mostly males from eating them

Cinnabar moth caterpillars in the garden. Introduced them to some ragwort I'd want removed, should keep them seen to until they finish growing
The new critters are in their home, the woodlice must've had babies since cos there were way more than 20
Springtails have yet to spread around but the woodlice are content
Last post before I get home, noticed two decent looking honest sounding ban appeals. Hope they're genuine, it's nice to have some real motherfuckers get returned and not having a shitfest in comments about how (admin) shouldn't have muted cos everyone liked their song, or how aimbot 9 years ago means you've changed
