Pieces is more like it, one side of the glasses is completely destroyed, the whole frame is out of place. Since I am near-sighted I am not able to drive a car anymore, since I never had replacement glasses.
Alright that one's on you, however in germany it's spelled "desaströs", that's how it influenced me! I am no native american, so please have some mercy on my soul.
I can use the bus/train for free in and around this city. It'll have to suffice. Sadly that is of course very uncomfortable and I don't know how I am going to work next Monday without my proper eyesight. I wouldn't exaggerate about it if it wasn't as bad as it is right now. I went to university this morning and all I could do was listen but not read what the professor wrote down ._.
@Dr.Shoe Actually it isn't as bad when you get used to it. I'm wearing glasses for years and I need to wear them all the time due to short-sightment. I can not recognize faces until they are like 1m away from me. However this is indeed a very annoying situation right now for me.
@TapTap Both my eyes have about -1,7dioptres, but that was some years ago, it could be worse like -1,9 now. I'll see when I get to the optician tomorrow.
I'm having headaches all day because I am not used to this blurry world.
@TapTap Yes. I am. I personally think it's worse than being far-sighted where you can actually still see the surrounding area mostly without problems until it comes to like reading a book. But in my case, all I can do is seeing right in front of me. Up to maybe 1-1,50m then it becomes very blurry.
