Yeah but only for .5 of a second and it has no range and is easily destroyed by other projectiles. Also the stun is only good if charged, really.

it has more range than pac-man's bell, and as you just said It can be charged, not all characters have projectiles. and it stuns long enough for you to run off and get a free hit or two.

it takes a while to actually shoot the thing, you can clearly see it coming, its small, slow, and if you don't charge it all the way, chances are you won't be fast enough to capitalize its stun.
