    So I've been using stock pyro loadout to try to get better. Puff n' sting is still possible to an extent but not as powerful as deg/axt.

    Flamethrower / Shotgun gives you a big edge if you're playing in their ideal ranges. Getting into that range is a whole different story though.

    I just don't like feeling cheap. Don't really mind using the flare gun but deg/axt combo makes it a bit easy to get kills with minimal effort imho. I also try not to use Dead Ringer and use stock watch for the same reasons plus I'm better with stock watch. Sometimes working to get the kill feels rewarding.

    It seems like 99% of players playing spy are Dead Ringers or Dr. Saharans/Enforcicles. I consider invisiwatch superior.

    I do much better as spy when using the invisiwatch than the unlocks. As long as you learn to be stealthy and avoid spam or running into anyone invisiwatch is wonderful. Some players don't expect it either which makes it an advantage for me.

    So earlier someone glitched the spawn door on Dustbowl Stage 1 and no one could get out. Didn't know who glitched so couldn't file a report.

    Someone needs to figure out why the Dustbowl servers lag randomly for some people. Yesterday it was alright but today horrible lag.

    Well it's been a few months this is happening. If it is my isp I'd expect it to be fixed well before now. I have Fios so the chances are slim the issue is isp related. The lag gets worse with more players on. With a decent amount of players my ping is 25ms - 30ms but when players start leaving it goes down to 15ms.

    I suspect server bandwith gets saturated causing some players to lag. Server configuration may not be optimal for some to play without lagging. I just know that Pingtest reports no issues and neither does WinMTR.

    The difference a good mouse can make is amazing. Using my roommates Gateway mouse that has a weight inside and my shots were more accurate.

    Getting better playing as spy. Can pull off some nice corner stabs. Still can't stair stab though. Lagging too much for amby headshots.

    Corner stabs are more reliable for the most part, especially since you can pick really unexpected places to do them. A lot more work goes into setting up stair stabs, unless you're doing it properly and going blind.

    I think I may have corner stabs mixed up. I've backstabbed pyro's aware of my presence by side/circle straffing to "fake" them out. I've also backstabbed enemies coming around a corner. What are matador stabs btw, are they different than corner/stair stabs?

    Matador stabs are the first one. If someone's following you out in the open, just let them follow you one way, then slide the other and stab. The spy knife is the only melee that doesn't have any swing up time. It's kind of the same principle as faking around a corner, then coming back and going for the stab, just without the corner.

    Is playing Heavic considered griefing? I used my sandvich specifically for healing injured teammates and my melee on enemies as a Heavy.

    As long as you are helping your team and not healing enemies or something it's not griefing...

    Alrighty. Just trying to have fun and not worry about killing or being killed. No one really expects a hoovy throwing sandviches at teammates. I was also killing spies and other enemies. Thought I would ask just to be on the safe side.

    That feeling when a team is being spawn camped and losing then you join their team and lead them to victory.

    Just helped lead my team to victory and scored top of the round as a Demoman, best I've done.
