New [DEATHRUN ONLY] Allow micspam within reason

If you don't play deathrun then please don't post.

It's dumb to be muting players just because they played a five-second sound clip in voice. I'm not saying people should be allowed to spam literal earrape but there have been some ridiculous mutes in the past that were completely unnecessary in my view. I still think that anyone should be allowed to call a vote to mute someone who is micspamming but it shouldn't be reportable unless it's relentless or breaks one of the other rules.

So, since some admins are still unable to use their common sense, I propose we add a new rule:

Deathrun Server Rules

• Lying about freerun is allowed.
• Intentionally suiciding or disconnecting as boss at the end of the round to annoy everyone else.
• Micspam is allowed within reason, however, players may still call a vote to mute you.

its ok play music if someone dont want play music just mute the player from the scoreboard or use /ignore

Haven't we had this exact same conversation before and come to the conclusion that if you give people an inch they'll take a mile and that the rule is broad intentionally because of that.

The difference is most people even with an admin on such as Arctic aren't being muted for 3 second laugh track and instead are usually muted for playing heavy x medic gay sex compilation.mp3 for the 5th time in 15 minutes.

That was for all servers, this is just for deathrun, the home of you and me.

That's why I said within reason; if they're playing heavy x medic for the 5th time in 15 minutes then let them be muted.

This whole suggestion stinks of cream tea thinks there's an overbearing nature of admins but in reality it's actually pretty loose as far as rules go and generally you won't be muted as long as you're only playing a 3 second sound bite every like 10 to 15 minutes, this whole suggestion reeks of the big bad admins don't want you to Mic Spam so I'm going to be the people's representative, as people already aren't being muted for 3 second sound bites what you would know if you actually play the server that you claim the admins are ruining, this suggestion just seems to be made for the sole purpose of trying to blame the admins for something else, like I don't care how much you hate gala making a straw man just to blame the admins for something else is pretty low even by your standards.

I didn't want to make a suggestion like this for a server that I'm not a regular player on. I'm sure FF2 players would appreciate the same rule though after the ProKid saga.

If Bottiger wishes to implement, it could be Skial-wide for all servers. In a way, I wouldn't mind regarding music requests. It promotes more fun in the server when users can interact with each other.

Cream will always be upset with them. Like an American being mad over the Vietnam War, so that is who he is and the community has to accept him as he is. Should there be a suggestion to implement swim lanes for admins to prevent unauthorized access in cultures, thereby preventing a ProKid incident again?

That's pretty much how it used to be when I was an admin. We stuck to the servers we were regular players on which is why you list the servers you are active on when making an admin application. We didn't have this problem of admins handling gamemode-specific reports on servers they never play on.

Im a dr player since 2024 and i really understand the skial dr rules cause i got gagged like 1 month and that was too much for me so when that happpened so I started thinking about quitting the game since I hadn't had any communication for a month, and I actually stopped playing for a month. I think its linda funny to play 3 second sounds but unfair to get muted for 1 month. +1
