It's not necessarily me who feels the need to say it as such but TF2 is an M-rated game and I'm tried of seeing players get muted for it when they're obviously not actual racists.
Like come on there is clearly a difference between going "sup niggas" and "hang all niggers"...

This has a two part problem:
First problem is: It's one of those words that some regard as "only some people can say", people will get upset if specific people say it. Having the word banned entirely avoids this problem.
Second problem is: Some people still regard it as a slur, even if it is the -a version, even if it is used in jest, etc.
I say fur*** as jest among my close friends, where I know it is ok because we know we are joking and are fine with that joke. I don't say it in public like in Skial because people still get offended by that word (due to the second part being used as a homophobic slur). Just because I find it sometimes funny to say in jest among my friends sometimes, doesn't mean it should be allowed in Skial.
Reading the room (I.E. being considerate of others) and not being a dick is a important thing.

There is a 3rd major problem with it too that seems to be tip-toed around by them.
You can never 100% fully gauge someone's intent over the internet with how they use words. Lest we forget the several page long discussion over the guy trying to go after a actual kid in one of the Idle servers this month?
That's just how it's said. If you wish to say it CT, then that's your decision. I won't just because that's not who I am, but I am no longer slashing Skial's player count over that smaller degree of it, so players can be retained from petty reports.
The consensus here is proving that it's alright saying "nigga", as long as it is not with the 'er like that other guy was doing, which resulted in him being sent to the shadow realm lol. Or if it's stated poorly or of a similar nature. Good call to make the player count recover.

Actions speak louder than words. Y'all just silly and ban off the -er as understandably so, but the messages here are all over the place. Banning off would result in too high a deficit.
And hey, suggestions could agree or disagree and still not be in place. Y'all are letting the smaller variants pass the vibe checks in this thread lol. So it's nonverbally leaning in that direction. No loopholes attached.

I just don't think someone who is inactive and hates deathrun should be telling me, a contributor who actually knows the gamemode and is regularly active, what's really wrong with it.
That is fair if it is for the discussion. I would recommend keeping it so the conversations can flow on topic if read from the start.
But that is solely based on my discretion. I don't speak for y'all so I have no objections to a forum that y'all administer on.
