It's funny that the point flew right over your head there. CS:S is what you call a dead fucking game yet there is a server on there which has no problem maintaining an active player base. What's Skial's excuse?
I’m sure Quake has a few active servers too, that tends to happen when you’re offering the only thing left for a “dead” game.

Sure, but Skial (and Otaku) are the only ones offering it on TF2 (which you cite dying to be the reason for the decline in players on the servers) yet the servers barely fill up anymore. It's not the gamemode that died it's the players that quit playing it.

ZE on TF2 sucks, it’s way better on CS. Not surprised more people are playing on there.

I do feel the need to point out the irony in CT criticizing people who don't want this as "woke" or "sensitive", meanwhile, he himself left the discord server and doesn't play the dr server much because he got tired (aka sensitive) of people being fed up with him. If you're gonna be an edgy guy who likes to call out "sensitivity", it seems hypocritical to make a suggestion like this while staying away from the actual community aside from forums. (please don't remove this, JP, this isn't flaming, it's a genuine criticism I have).

This thread shows you that there are plenty of players who support this idea. We're not just a "vocal minority" like some users wish to believe.
There's a lot of talk and discussion from people who don't even play Skial's Zombie Escape in this thread. I think from a majority of the old players' perspective, like the regulars who would come on and did stop playing, simply just don't care about this issue? There are some in this thread who are speaking, but honestly I think it's just drama farming.
Form a ZE player's perspective, I believe its decline is from other matters that should be addressed but get drowned out by other pointless things. When it comes down to letting people say "nigga" or an actual slur, if it's against server rules who cares? Out of personal preference, I like playing TF2 ZE to avoid the whole n-word spam in CS. Sometimes, trying to be edgy is people's entire personality and it gets tiring if you just want to complete maps or play a game. A lot of people's personality here follow suit with that as well.
And I can see it from the other aisle. There was a time where people would be muted for saying "Nigeria" or even "bot," which I even found extremely stupid. But for "nigga," I think from a majority of people and not the terminally online forum goers, it doesn't matter. Ban it or not, I think the people who so fiercely advocate for it are the same type of people who like to stir shit up, micspam far too much, or say the most ludicrous things. Like, you got people here but how many of you here still play the game or try to support it through other means? A lot of you probably did or do, but the people who still actually play probably don't care as much. You'll get anecdotal evidence here and there, but I just don't think it's something worth caring about too much.

"plenty of support" yet there are 8 pages of just back and forth arguing, and it currently sits at a whopping 2 despite constantly going back and forth between as many as 9 upvotes this morning and -8 downvotes earlier. it's more like 50/50.
there is a CS2 community (GFL) which, even with real competition from mapeadores (checking maunz rn shows mapeadores still pulls in decent numbers during the american afternoon), maintains permanent full server at almost all hours of the day, while nide has 0 competition in css entirely.Not trying to advertise of course but you've got to understand that policing ZE players like they're on Skial 2Fort US is not beneficial.
They even have a "Führer" tag on Nide and have no problem with players using slurs.
effectively the same players right now. and if you say slurs you get muted. its not the moderation, people just like to play ZE. skial is dying because of shitty changes that have been made and maintained despite constant reg outcry alongside a stagnant map pool.
