Ever since my return to DR, the limited amount of maps is somewhat upsetting. I understand that some people did not like parkour maps, and I understand why, but it seems to me that the removal of these maps caused more harm than good. For one, for as many people who didn't care for parkour, many people (myself included) loved them. The creation of a parkour only server just complicates things, and it's understandable why many chose to stick to the regular server, even with the removal of the parkour maps. For many people (such as myself), parkour dr maps where what helped us get better at the game. Yes, I will admit certain maps were a bit too focused on the parkour aspect, but maps like Technoir, Neonoir and Scooby perfectly balance parkour and deathrun in my opinion. Without sounding like an asshole and saying "skill issue", I feel like the removal of these maps was done for the wrong reason, and I wish they could be re-added. Maybe implement a vote system on the discord or on here to see what maps are most liked?. Maybe put the most popular parkour maps (tech, neo, scooby etc) into a poll, and the one with the most votes gets added to the main server for a bit, and if enough people are fine with it staying slowly more will be put into a poll and re-added?.

I’m sick of playing old corridor maps everyday. Yes, parkour maps are hard, but imo that’s what makes them fun. Because you learn from your mistakes. You don’t stay “bad” forever. By making every map on the rotation baby-ified, it just prevents players from improving their potential skills. (Like the fact Junglemines was nerfed. I’m still mad about that because I think it’s unnecessary.)

Just let people learn or they’ll stay like this forever—unwilling to improve.

And like I first mentioned, all the maps in the rotation are a bit boring without parkour. I know Deathrun isn’t necessarily about parkour or movement tech, but without it, it’s just too linear. Hold W to get to the end simulator. That’s about what more than half of the maps are like on the current rotation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Something needs to change.

Bottiger could probably be willing to add that back if there was a Stripper config that does something about the rotating platforms since that's what the majority of players had an issue with.

I'll make one if he says yes.
Fuck the strippers, make these fuckers learn.

I used to be a corridor meme slop enjoyer and hated platforming maps due to my skill issue, BUT ever since i practiced more and learned how to strafe, they become so easy!

Basically went from Corridor meme slop enjoyer > Platforming Map Enjoyer

1) Eu server is, and always has been, less active than the NA server
2) The removal of parkour maps does not all explain the jump in player numbers. You would know this is you showed the entire graph instead of cutting it off to make your point seem more valid.
3) Show the NA server. There was no difference in player counts before or after the removal.

Still keeping it at -1.

Nothing personal; I'm just speaking from my own experience while on EU.

Maps that were frequently visited on US were not the same on the EU server. Different culture, and I am not moving the goal post to explain why on this.
It will revert the US server to 12 hours as it once was. But worse, no EU players in the EU server to set aside differences.
You're asking for the player base to be halved. This was when EU was active. Goes back to this, and we are in a full circle again.

Should I also display Surf's chart when players fall into a fad and shun new players for "skill issue"?
