I'm indifferent to be honest, I really like the map from a theming perspective but I can't deny it's basically impossible for hale to win against 32 players if even just a couple are competent, making the player count anymore than say 32 is going to exacerbate the problem but I think it could handle 36 players if it was your average skial players.

+1 if it remains at the 40-50 nightmare we have now.
 
i feel double edged on this. on one hand i really despise dr_meltdown and everytime its voted i leave the server. however, its one of the few "quality" maps that i can understand some people on this server enjoy. so im gonna do =1
 
+1. The traps simply are too weak for Hale to ever win, since they can be consistently dodged even when activated. I admit that it's a neat idea to have traps be dodgeable with good skill, but when that's applied to the entire map, it becomes much more apparent how much weaker the traps become. This has been a problem even before the increased player count also made traps even easier to disable.
Again, the traps are so weak that it's very difficult for Hale to actually kill someone with them. Even the few traps that aren't meant to be escaped still offer a lot of leeway in letting players react to them ahead of time.
 
Though, in all fairness, all the map would really need to fix these problems is buff the traps into being actual threats. I support a potential revamp of the map.

It's a good map loved by many and the reason for there being too many players isn't a good reason shortly after the suggestion to increase the number of total players.
