Detailed Explanation

this is for any server whether it be hightower, casual, or 2fort. can join servers such as ugc without issue. its a connection failed after 4 retries problem

Yes use an ethernet cable to connect your computer directly to the modem, bypassing anything you may have inbetween.

I understand that you only have a problem with our servers. But on the other hand our player counts are normal so it is more likely that you have something blocking us than the other way around.
 
can you at least look into it ive done a factory reset on my router and i still cant connect, reset all my computer's network settings still cant connect. im at a loss for what to do at this point
 
Yes I already looked into it as much as I can. These kinds of problems are pretty much impossible for us to diagnose without access to your computer and the chances are that it is your firewall or a problem with your isp.

Usually when there is a connection problem that is fixable on our end, it would show up in the traceroute you just provided. But since the traceroute doesn't show any problems, it is caused by a firewall or router block specifically blocking udp packets to our server. If it was something widespread we'd have a lot more complaints, but it is only just you.
 
ok update so i tested tf2's client port with powershell and low and behold the tcp test fails heres what powershell output
