Why should you be unbanned?
I'm being banned for advertising cheats? I fat fingered a bind that said "get good get lmaobox"? I'm not genuinely advising people to start cheating and I do not play with cheats.

The bind is an obvious joke though. You know those low tier god edits? The "KILL YOURSELF, NOW!" things? Do you look at those and think "oh man this is someone genuinely telling me to kill myself!"?

It is not a joke though. People have killed themselves after enough assholes online repeatedly "jokingly" told them to do it. Our forums are filled with people who had no intention of cheating, then some jackass comes along either with the real thing that forces the message every few seconds, or has a bind because "hurr durr funny cheat message" and go get the cheat and then get caught. Now they're banned for life.

We have the rule about not advertising hacks, even if they're fake cheats that don't exist, because we don't want people even remotely thinking about it. If the thought never crosses their mind, they won't get in trouble. So we take advertising as serious as actually cheating.

Delete the bind, I'll reduce the ban. Keep your nose clean from now on.

Reaching. Also cheating in community servers is silly and only idiots would do it. If someone were to genuinely be advertising cheats, I doubt it would be a single dude telling people to buy a well-known cheat.

If someone were to cheat I severely, severely doubt that they'd take a single person's bind into consideration for their justification of cheating.

Thank you for being reasonable and shortening my ban, however. I'll remove the bind because iirc it was used solely for a bit me and my friends were doing in casual and I never thought to unbind it. I do see how that bind could be seen as genuine (seeing as how it's almost the exact bind used by lmaobox's autospam) and will refrain from repeating this mistake in the future.
