Why should you be unbanned?
I just looked at the ban details, and it is b.s. It says "threatening to dox", which I admit, my comment could have been taken that way, but anyone with half a brain would know I was joking. This is what happens when mods like this get an ego. I think I should be unbanned because the reason for ban is a joke.

We take comments like this seriously because doxxing is an actual issue we deal with. There have been numerous cases where someone acts exactly like this and actually does dox someone. The ban is an extra precaution simply because we don't want people who threaten to dox (legitimate or not) in our servers.

Appeals for situations like this are not only to see if it was a legitimate threat or a joke, but to also see if the person is remorseful about their actions. Remorse is a very strong way to show these actions will not happen again, however this comment you made not only shows no remorse but also a clear lack of it. The person who banned you didn't ban you because you hurt his ego, they banned you because you made a threat towards a user on the server, which we have no way to verify whether its legitimate or not (except possibly through appeals).

Learned anything? Im sorry, what is there to learn?
The main thing to learn is both actions online and in person have consequences. We hold players on our server accountable for their actions and expect basic decency from them. Threatening them is not an acceptable way to act, especially when the threat specifically used is very prevalent in an online circumstance. The big takeaway you should get from this is understanding the severity of the threat and how it looks to us as a third party (I understand it was a joke as you've established, but with no context either situation is plausible).
