Will you get mad if you lose admin? Nope, only if there is a valid reason, though.

How do you ban yourself for "obvious aimbot" using your own SteamID?
By using console and typing sm_ban, put their steam id or name, enter the minutes for the amount, and give a reason.


Anything else you feel like saying
I love skial servers, and love the community! i would just LOVE to be an admin for them!

There is no time set in stone, but generally during this wait period, the person applying continues with reports, active in the community, and gaining support on your app (Eg. +1 from people servers you've played with or think you'd be a good admin).

My message wasn't meant to discourage you, but rather an explanation as to why the admin application process is lengthy. For one it shows commitment, but it also allows us to understand who you are and what type of actions you partake in (Or other reasoning for being an admin, such as abusing commands which has happened before). Another reason is it shows involvement/popularity in the community, with feedback being left on the app directly, as well as looking at you specifically when this app is open to see how you interact with users. Lastly, I find the waiting process also allows for improvement/clarifications on what being an admin entails, as well to correcting any mistakes that have been made. Since the app has already closed, I believe it is ok to specify that on this app the banning question was answered incorrectly, for further explanation on how it is supposed to be answered, previous (accepted) applications are a good way to start.

This is a process for everyone, not just you. For context, mine had taken 2-3 months before it was fully accepted. This wait allows us to have a better understanding of who you are and why you wish to be an admin, as well as show you have commitment, and if you are trustworthy enough to have power over some of the servers.
