New Disable reactions in reports

I believe we should disable reactions in that section to keep it professional. I'm seeing people react in that section for no reason other than to troll or to annoy people. There is no reason for people to be able to react there as it is merely a place to make reports on rule breakers, we don't need to have the peanut gallery making reactions to them. They can comment on reports in unmodded.

Can you please stop filtering the chat for slurs and making reports for servers you’re not even playing on? I understand you want to keep the servers clean, but this is borderline spam.

Make a report if you see something happening on the servers. You don’t need to search for rules being broken in your free time.

One is in response to a mass influx of reports, and the other is keeping people who have no business in reports out. 9 times out of 10, people posting in the support section of the forums (outside of suggestion) aren’t contributing shit, and only serve to anger, demean, or otherwise turn away people from our forums and/or servers.

I know the majority of people getting reported or appealing aren’t exactly the cream of the crop, but there’s no reason to be rude (and yes, calling someone’s post dumb for essentially no reason is rude) when a player, in their understanding of the situation, thinks something was handled improperly. If you desperately need to let some stranger online know they’re dumb, reconsider your life choices. After doing that, and when degeneracy ultimately prevails, unmod is always an option.

A forum is literaly a place for typing in a conversation. The way to react is by using your keyboard and words. In reports, a reaction adds absolutely nothing to the solution seeked.

but if you say anything that is against the rules when you type Maddo then you get in trouble and then get punished so reactions are a better way to do it without saying anything rude or even worse. i'm just looking out for skials forum and skial itself as a whole. but whatever man i have said my peice and i feel this conversation is going nowhere now

So you basically think that dumb rating people who make reports is a way of getting around the rules?
Just stay out of the reports section and put your energy into other parts of the forum if you care about Skial that much.

The simple solution is to just remove comments from the thread that are not relevant. A rule like this would hurt more than help.
