The server apparently has an issue with people joining in, spamming nsfw in chat, and then getting banned, because it’s such a bad problem discord themselves has warned the server that if it continues the server will be outright deleted, and considering that jerma seems to have gotten even stricter I highly doubt this will happen
if this was a smaller server i think it would be fine, but the server is infamous for randos doing dumb shit.
there are ways around all of that, like you have to request to have nsfw through a bot and you would need a certain role to even request it

Actually someone claimed to be underage and reported it to discord. They got a warning if it wasn’t fixed they would be deleted.
Because I mute you for posting a shitting Rhino in our memes channel does not correlate to me being stricter. We don't allow NSFW on the discord, don't try to argue that shit isn't NSFW and don't argue that you didn't know. You're not completely braindead, you know the rules.
What is stopping a child from obtaining that certain role and requesting NSFW through the bot, we'd need to verify their age, and no one is providing proof of ID or a birth certificate to a discord server

Not to mention the fact Cookie was underage and deliberately stayed in the NSFW channel despite the big warning pop up about it. If they were to come in on an alt nothing would stop her from getting back into it
Discord doesn't give a fuck. If it's on a server, it's the server owner's fault in their eyes.

In order for a discord to be safe for NSFW you need admins watching every single line of chat 24/7 to see if they say or suggest they are underaged.
It doesn't matter if we had an age-gate on the channel and they claimed to be over 18 on it, and it doesn't matter if you make every person tell an admin they are over 18 so you can give them a role. There's no way around this issue.
