Hello Skial staff, I am interested in appealing an infraction that I committed about a year ago that led to an indefinite ban from the server.
Basically, I was banned for disrespecting another player on the server (not profanely, if I recall correctly). This player had used an incredibly obscene pornographic spray on one of the US 2fort servers and I decided to hop on voice chat and ask him why he would choose to do that (I know that TF2 is an M rated game, but is it too much to ask for a little decency, given all of the minors that play this game?). I was a bit ticked off; as I'm sure the staff here knows, these sprays don't exactly paint the community in a positive light. As I was talking over voice chat, a moderator must have hopped in and saw an argument happening, as I was quickly gagged. Shortly after, I was banned.
I wasn't too bothered at the time since I only hop on the game occasionally. Would it still be possible to appeal this ban, even though it's a bit old? I wasn't intending to start a flame war or bring any negative attention to what was happening.
