  • Everything is in the title. There's just a lot of players forgetting to resetq so when they are Hale they stay afk and it's boring so I feel like if we have an option to accept or refuse to play hale 1 round before it will fix the problem.

And not selecting to accept or refuse before the round ends means that you refuse so AFK's won't be hale.

+1 this is basically the hale-queue system in FF2 where you can select to play hale or not. just use /haletoggle and press 2, you no longer need to worry about playing hale.

but currently isn't it just the case where you always need to reset your queue points? (i haven't jumped on a server for a small bit so i forgot how it currently works)

The only command available for players are currently !halenext, !resetq, !noboss. They all reset your points but you need to type it every 4 minutes which is annoying.

You don't need to type !noboss every 4 minutes. That is a command I made myself so people don't have to type !resetq all the time.

Uh, it doesn't work like that. It's like a resetq with no pressing 1 to confirm. At least not for ages and ages (last time I played was yesterday I think). I had alrdy talked to Sniffy about this before I believe, think she said she was going to report it to you.

I already know the command but you still have to bind it and use it every game cause other players resetq too so you never really know when you will be the hale. I'm talking more about a plugin to have an options like "never being hale" "not being hale on this map" or to have a warning on the left of our screens something saying "you are the next hale do you want to play as hale ect ect".

It's a plugin like this one https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=210797 but I only find it for ff2 so I'm gonna keep searching.

What happens if everyone chooses not to be hale? does hale become a bot, does the game have to pick one player? Just curious.

I believe the way it works in FF2 is that if nobody chooses to play Hale, it will just choose a random player from the server to become the Hale. It's happened a few times before where I would choose not to become Hale, but everybody else had done the same thing. So I would become Hale randomly even if I had it disabled.
I'm not sure if it works the same way in VSH though.

It just seems to don't work on the VSH so I can't give any answer about it.

Ok it should be fixed now. It should work on the next map change. You can type !noboss on and off and it should say "Queue points will be set to 0 at the end of each round." if the plugin has been reloaded.
