The Dota 2 invite says Dota 2 because it is going to be F2P. The leaked price is a rumor. I already posted leaked screenshots showing the in-game store.

f2p is a rumor. The price, however, remains unknown. But since I have this steam gift in my inventory I have no idea what it might do if DOTA 2 was f2p. Guess, I'll just wait for official information then.

The only reason why you have a DOTA 2 invite in your inventory is because you got a beta invite. Why would they give you a free game for beta testing unless it was free? Otherwise it would say DOTA 2 Beta.
