Hello, my game name is xXxmlgpro360noscoperswagxXx (i changed it a few days ago for lulz) and yesterday i was trying to troll people (trying people to believe that i am using hacks) and get banned. Please, unban me. You can check my stats to see that i am not a hacker... I was not even advertising hacks jeez...​

I told you that i was trying to troll people. I'm not a hacker. You can test my skill and challenge me as sniper.
 
Anyway people will using hacks even if not advertising them, because of lack of skill or for making people angry...
 
The messages that pop up periodically in the server even state that advertising hacks, even as a joke, is against the rules. We do not need your "joke" or "troll" giving a bunch of other players ideas of what to look up.

On top of that, you have ONLY tf2 on your account, it is a late number account, and for 335 hours in game you've only been on skial for about 4 months. All that says to me is you have a paid cheat that hasn't been caught yet, and have been banned on other servers enough you finally came around to ours.

We won't be challenging you as sniper because any idiot can turn their cheats off and miss on purpose.

Yes people will use cheats but we do not need you telling them what they are called or even planting the idea to cheat in their heads. We strive to keep any unsavory players out of our servers and you are just making things worse.

AT MINIMUM you show a lack of basic common sense as the server tells you all the time to type "/rules" to see what our server rules are, which you blatantly disregarded so you could "troll."

The evidence against you does not look good. RM already said no, you won't find much sympathy with me, and I doubt @Dave will have much sympathy either. Good luck on other servers, don't talk about cheats anymore.
 
I believe he made a mistake, do you really want to keep him banned permanently after he was told to appeal yesterday? I don't think the ban needs to be permanent, I'm pretty sure he got the note to not advertise cheats..

And the cheater theory that Fenix' made up is a little far-fetched in my book..:

Doesn't mean he always did, but having tf2 as your only game amongst myriad other free to play is a red flag to me, along with a late number ID means the account was created relatively recently, another red flag. I'm not saying one way or another to be sure, just said I don't have much sympathy and leaving it up to @Dave if he wants to go with RM's decision or not.

Tl;Dr something is fishy to me is all I'm saying.

LOL. I dont want to be rude on this forum and of course i am a guest here, but you mister are a funny guy. We can duel together as a snipers (i played this class at moment i get banned) and you will see my skill (i mean i am not very good, but i am definitely not a hacker).

What a paranoid. Do you want me to play csgo where players are doing the same boring thing: killing each other and being salty (like cod), when TF2 is much funnier game with much more options to have fun... No thank you, mr couch expert...
 
We shouldn't be accusing anyone of hacking without any proof.
However advertising hacks is still very serious and against our rules.
I'm going to lock this, @Dave will respond when he gets on.

Dave contacted me in Steam to tell you his decision, he would do it himself but he has a busy schedule today.

He said he thinks you learned that you are not supposed to write advertisements in chat, trolling or not it was still an advertisement of sorts. Please do not do this again. Make yourself familiar with the server rules:

He lowers your permanent ban to a single day instead, and hopes you remain with us while following the rules from now on forward. I will do that now for him and with that, your ban expired already so you can come back.
