Approved Admin App: Pedro the fabulous

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. Please comment on the questions with the command used (if any). Of course, the commands can be in either console or chat box format, whichever makes you happy.

1. You're playing on the trade server with your friend Whip Cactus (whose profile is above). Whip is advertising his item through binds. Koni, whose profile is also above, says he's spamming and calls a vote to silence for spam.

What do you do, if anything? Whip has been banned and silenced 5 times altogether. His last silence/ban was only for a week. Koni has been silenced once before.

2. You're playing on Dustbowl, when a steam friend messages you that Piss Wanker, whose profile is above, said "nigger" on the mic over in Turbine. You go to the server, stay and play for 10 minutes, and the whole time you don't hear him say "nigger." Your friend did not record a demo.

What do you do, if anything? Piss Wanker has been banned and silenced 3 times altogether.

3. You're playing on the servers one day, when a girl enters the server. For shits and giggles, we will say this girl is Bree, whose profile is above. The girl starts talking on the mic, "saying hi guys!" Deadport, whose profile is also above, does not like girls and says, "Blah blah blah. Get the fuck out, bitch." Everyone else blows Deadport off, but Bree, the "girl", gets quiet, and her feelings appear to be hurt.

What do you do, if anything? Deadport has only been silenced once in the past year.

1. In trade, using a bind every 5 (or more) seconds is fine. Koni hasn't really abused the votemenu since Whip is doing his binds fast, which in other servers would have lead to punishment, so I won't gag Koni. The first thing I would do is stop the vote: /cancel_vote in chat and inform Koni why what they did is wrong. No punishment would be given to anyone.

2. Because there is no evidence of what happened, I won't silence Piss Wanker. The most I could do is ask people around if anyone has a demo.

3. Because discrimination agaisnt sex is not allowed, I would immediately silence Deadport: sm_silence "#[U:1:108234469]" "4320" "Discrimination". I may speak with Bree (privately with sm_psay "Bree" "Are you okay?") to see if she is fine.

This looks fine to me, it's understandable that someone could think it is spamming.
We've got a high tolerance for spam - especially on trade, https://stats.skial.com/#player/tftrade/68373722
As you have said, informing the player why it's not really spam is a good thing to do, as players are often confused.

Not fully sure what RM expected from this, but that looks fine to me - this is something I would probably consider within the realm of admin discretion honestly.

Yeah that's fair enough - strange wording from RM.
In a real scenario you probaby wouldn't know anything about the person.
They could be saying it for whatever reason, you only really have their words as evidence.

Then why don't you enlighten the applicant as to what is wrong with their answers, if telling people was is wrong/right about their answers is allowed?

I believe in a peaceful way Cream Tea is only saying what is allowed and what is not allowed, he is not saying anything with regards to the answers of the applicant.

I may not be as active on the forums but i play jb a good deal. I want to be able to help people and make sure that they understand the rules and help them to learn how to play. When i think of the people that I aspire to be like in terms of helping people Pedro is one of those people. He may say some things that are considered immature but he likes to help people. He acts like any regular old friend that gives his buddies a hard time. I know that even when I have a question about the rules and the technicalities of the game I can ask Pedro.
