You were banned for making an alt and trying to use cheats with it, but you got caught by SMAC and got your IP blacklisted. Considering the cheater was "ThatOneGuy" and you are "THAT_ONE_HUMAN" I'd say it's safe to say it was you. People are never banned "for no reason at all" and if you can't even put in what is in the REASON box then you are obviously playing dumb. We are not that dumb.

You need to pick better friends. But I have a feeling that friend doesn't exist, your connection history shows only you, then the alt once then all back to you. If this "friend" didn't like you that much, I highly doubt you'd let him come over and play TF2 with you on your connection.

The more plausible explanation is that you decided you wanted to screw around with cheats, got caught, and now you're realizing the gravity of what you did. Why not just come clean and own it? You got caught, learn a lesson, and move on.
