My second placement match and the whole enemy team except one person leave after we went 2 for 2. The one guy left after the match said "At least I got some exp"

Good thing Blizzard took away the "Avoid" function. Now instead of just avoiding toxic people I can repeatedly get matched into their comp games and help them derank.

So explain to me why when one teammate leaves, the game says something like. "A teammate has disconnected. Leave in X seconds and you will not be punished." But then you leave and drop a rank anyway? WTF?

It's so you don't have to play it out. If you left you get temporarily banned and it counts against you for the season. If you leave when the warning was up, this does not happen.

The reason they do this is so that you can't just have one of your friends leave when you are in a bad spot and get off without a loss.
