Is there a way to mute someone if their name doesn't have any latin characters?

For instance, I tried to ignore someone with this command:
Which was an exact copy of their name, but it said there were mutliple clients matching it- but there weren't, I'm guessing this is because it's detecting that I put something in, but what it actually detects is a space maybe?

Use team fortress' own client mute, there's not really any other way considering the command doesnt's accept quotation marks.

Just use !ignore again.
Yeah we tested that once before, Luke, remember??:tongueout:

Have you tested whether sourcemod language works for it? i.e. Use userID if you can't use their name. Their userID is the 3 or 4 digit number at the beginning of their "status" line.

You tested it before, I didn't know about using the command again.

Edit: ...didn't have a chance to try the userID thing, I will next time I'm on.

Hi all. I showed Luke how he could use userID in the place of a partial or full name, when using !ignore or /ignore, to ignore people with difficult or duplicate names.

Type: /ignore #xxxx
xxxx will be the 2 to 4 digit userID number at the beginning of their status line.

Optionally, you may do this in console too: sm_ignore #xxxx
