Why should you be unbanned or unblocked?:

I just figured out how to do colored text the other day and was using it (a bit excessively) yesterday and today. Yesterday, another person Good Ol' Times renamed himself to Lmayo™ and began copying someone else named Lmayo. Today, jokingly, I renamed myself to [GOD] Lmayo and used the same bind "Lmayo*" as they both were using. After a few minutes, I was gagged for a month for "chat spam". Sure, what I was doing was more than normal, but I was in no way "spamming". I don't have the chat log, but every time I posted "Lmayo*", the other two "Lmayo"s would post it too and neither of them are gagged.

If it's up to the server to decide what constitutes voice spam, why is it up to an admin to decide what constitutes chat spam. I wasn't advertising anything (true spam). And if no one else minded and two other people were doing the exact same thing I was doing, a month is ridiculous.​

It is up to the server to decide whether music over mic is excessive. Voice spam and chat spam are both admin silenceable offenses. Chat spam is generally spamming 5+ binds within a minute.

You've been silenced for chat spam before, and you didn't appeal that silence, so please don't play the "I don't know what I did wrong" card.

Yours and Good Ol' Times's spam was reported to me, and I checked both of your logs. Only yours was excessive. GOT's was not. I just now went back to last night's chat to check to see if he was indeed spamming as you say, and he was not.

You didn't seem to care when you were silenced the other three times. Unluckily for you, we have a progression. 1 day --> 3 days --> 1 week --> 1 month. That lands you at a month. Normally, I would say no harm no foul, you deserve a second chance. But you've been silenced for chat spam before, and you seem to think this time should be different. Plus this is your fourth offense. No sir. You will not be ungagged. Please wait out a month. Also, you will notice it is only a gag, not a mute. That allows you to continue to use your microphone (if you have one, of course) to communicate with your friends.

^ This is not spam either. The one around 7:02 got very close, but it was not spammy, imo. Whereas you spammed the bind 5 times in like 6 seconds.
