I got vote banned for capping twice on Freak Fortress 2 NY because I capped the point when 2 players remained. We always debate whether capping is allowed. If an admin can chime in, it would be helpful.

No. Those people are just voting you off because of bias, and they want you not to cap.
This is called vote abuse, and you can report them for it, getting them banned instead of you. All you need is sufficient proof.

i will be honest, i am involved in this situation, a lot of months ago some players (including me) were fed up that some players and bosses capped only to get an "easy get out" and the real objective of this custom gamemode is to fight boss, dont only go cap if it is available, so it was a great idea to voteban the ones that do it, and from that time to next, the game was mor enjoyable because the game ends like it have to be, by killng all the players on a team, and only capping if it was really impossible to get the final player, please make a rule or something like that, because is annoying that you cant end a game the way it really is

I've had to silence plenty of people on that server for vote abuse because you and other people that share your opinion have basically made a "mob rule" that bans anyone that caps.

Knock it off. The rules say nothing about banning someone for capping the point, and I would rather not have to tell 20+ people on the server that they can relax and not worry about being banned for simply playing the game.

And it would be good to have a kick vote instead

No, it wouldn't, because no one should be kicked for capping the point once the two remaining players are atomizer scouts hiding in places that the boss has trouble getting to.

Ok, thanks to make the explanation because clearly this is a controversial topic on the server, i will try to share all of this on the server, so this doesnt happens again, well its clear that there is no prohibition for capping in rules and there should not exists bans for this.
