Time:

Playing Time:
175 hours, though I have consistently played tens of hours for the past few weeks, and I have no plan to stop coming to Skial servers any time soon.
Will you get mad if you lose admin?:
Absolutely not. I am very level headed, and even if it appeared to be without reason, I would just assume that whoever removed me had a valid prompt to do so.
How do you ban yourself using your own SteamID?:
sm_addban 30 "#[U:1:53540755]" "obvious aimbot"
Any other reason you should be admin:
I like to keep things professional (which is ironic considering the fact that TF2 is the zaniest game I know of), and I am always aware of the actions of others without becoming anal and annoying about it.

The Skial community is a great place that is unfortunately plagued by people who like to ruin other people's good times through methods that clearly go against Skial rules. What's really sad is that 90% of the time, there is never an admin on who cares to do anything about it.

In my judgments, I am always firm, but fair. I always consider the facts and the rules carefully, and I would do my best to make sure everyone is having a good time.

Regardless of whether or not I get accepted, I will still work in a "vigilante" sort of fashion by informing people when they're breaking the rules, though I do hope you consider me.

Welcome to the forums, Rena! I'm sure you'll reach that 200 hours very quickly, so I wouldn't necessarily give that a -1.

I do find it ironic that today you spammed a bind "I'm good at video games" 5 times in 30 seconds, since that would be chat spam. So, I think it would benefit you the most if you work on your hours, be careful about the chat spam, and don't forget to get lots of people (especially all the regs you hang out with on the turbine servers) to vouch for you.

+0 for now

Ah gosh, I was worried that would come back to bite me.

That was my 3 year old nephew whom I was briefly babysitting. He wanted to use the mouse and unfortunately, the two buttons he found the most interesting were the two on the side of the mouse, which are bound.
Thank you for your response, though.

Lotta problems and inconsistencies I'm seeing.

I don't know why you want to be an admin. If your reason is just because you want to help out against rulebreakers well you don't really need to be an admin to do that.

You say that the Skial community is plagued, and that you work in a, "vigilante" sort of fashion but at the same time I haven't found a single report by you against rulebreakers. Do you just tell them to stop and then ignore them when they don't instead of reporting them?

What's really sad is that 90% of the time, there is never an admin on who cares to do anything about it.

So you get admins who don't care? The staff members typically have very good response times when someone writes up a report or submits a /report. In this, it sounds like you don't think the staff care to do their jobs. However if you cared, then you'd report them yourself so in this hypothetical "90% of the time" situation, neither you nor the staff did what they were supposed to do.

The admin's can't work alone and they can't always be around to watch a server and remove problems. This is why any user is given the ability to report problems and I wish a lot more people would do that instead of immediately jumping the gun at wanting to be an admin because they think that's the only way to help.

I do not see the effort. Maybe you can convince me otherwise.

I apologize about not being as precise as I could have been. Allow me to address your issues.

I admit, this is by far the biggest oversight I made that would ultimately weaken my case, and that is no one's fault but my own.
I haven't found a single report by you against rulebreakers.
This, specifically, is because I have made friends on Skial servers who have told me that admins only consider bans if they are online to see it themselves. Since, as my hours show, I am relatively new to skial, I decided to apply going on that knowledge so that I could pick up the slack. In this case, I only know about the slack by only word-of-mouth and also due to the fact that I've personally never seen an admin ban anyone.

Yes, this is precisely correct, specifically because I've made it up in my head that if I do report anyone, nothing will happen. It was a poor choice to not even try before coming to that conclusion.

As it stands, I would still appreciate the admin status because I believe I am a responsible individual who always has the interest of the people - as well as the conflicts between the people and the rules - in mind.
That being said, I understand if the staff would like to wait for me to "Improve" before considering me for this status.

Certain situations require video evidence or for the admin to see it themselves. People either forget or don't know that there is built-in recording into TF2 that people can activate from the console.

https://www.skial.com/threads/collecting-evidence-in-tf2.47782/ for more information on collecting evidence.

I think it is great to read that you're at least making an attempt to stop problem people. Now you know that when !votemenu and !report fails (because that requires 3 people including yourself), that you still have a way to handle issues as they appear.

I'm sure you're aware of this by now, but that is far from the truth. Reports are taken care of - even if there's no admins on. Chat is logged, so anything chat-related will always be handled.

If there's voice spam, griefing, or hacks, then a demo should always be recorded in case an admin isn't online at the time. Generally they will be, and they will go into the server to record the demo themselves. But it's always a good backup to record one also.

Always report people who are hurting gameplay in any way, because nobody wants that. Even if you don't think it may work, try. Even if you're not sure if they'll be banned, ask yourself: is it hurting the server or other people's gameplay? If so, then you should bring it to the attention of admins. They're here to try and make sure everyone can have fun.

Just be careful not to abuse vote or report. :)

Good luck next time!

I'm not going to give a -1, but I can not give a +1 due to the low amount of hours.

I would say though that if you continue as you are now, you do have potential for the future. Just try not to spam any binds

As a side note, I know the turbine servers usually have an admin on when had a look at them, what time do you usually play on?
