No matter what team you root for, this is why hockey players are some of the baddest athletes in any sport. This is not just finishing out the end of a game but a "couple" games!!!!! I stub my toe on a table leg and I fold like a lawn chair.

Well, @Deadfront ... Good luck in Stanley Cup Finals to your team. I really don't know who am I hating more - CBH or TBL, but I'd be glad to see TBL winning the Cup just so I could say my beloved DRW lost to the Champions. :D

Love stealing one on the road late. Should deflate the Bolts a little bit. Go Blackhawks!!!

I lol'd at Bolts yesterday. They totally forgot what team they're playing against and they completely relaxed in 3rd. Result - two late goals in less than 2 minutes with 5 minutes left to go.

Looks like Chicago is going to take it this year. Apparently flooding in Chicago and the cup isn't even there lol

They are doing a police escort to get it there

My hometown guy. Everyone around here is pretty pumped. I hope it goes well for him.
Well, with youth comes a lot of advantages.. For example: new ideas, drive, energy, motivation, desire to prove yourself.. However, there are also drawbacks like the lack of experience. Talking about "youth" I mean an average age for NHL coaches.
So I do hope that Blashill's new ideas, drive, energy, motivation, and desire to prove himself will overcome his lack of experience in NHL coaching. I, honestly, won't even feel bad if this "consecutive playoff appearances streak" will come to an end in 2015-2016 season. I don't need this bullshit "achievement. I need a Cup. So if missing playoffs in next season is the price for remodeling the team - I can live with that.

I want to see new plays, new players (preferably, prospects) and new tactics. I want to see solid defense and skillful offense. I don't wanna make it to playoffs and get knocked out in the first round.

Talking about Blackhawks - the last goal in Game 6 by Kane was state of art. Also it was a demonstration of selfishness and communication. Great job, Chicago. Even though you're our biggest rivals, I'd rather see Original Six franchise winning the Cup than some cry babies from Florida, who, if they had won, would've run their mouths about how great they were by beating four out of six Original Six teams on their way to the Cup.

Congrats. You deserved it.

By the way.. Talking about how "great" Babcock is/was...

Quenneville got 3 Cups in 5 years. Babcock got 1 Cup in 10 years. Something doesn't add up.
