You can at least limit what's in a computer ( and therefore have more control ). Smartphones are just as bad, if not worse than consoles. Since they can fit in your pocket.

even though you can limit stuff, you're still more than likely being tracked unless you have no wireless/wired internet capable components in the device, whatsoever.
Do you actually believe someone's tracking EVERYTHING you do through your WiiU?
Besides that, would you really even care if someone was? I don't do anything horribly secretive that I would care about getting out.
I can see a little bit about what you mean with Nintendo cutting corners in manufacturing, but the hardware is fine and the games are good.

The U.S government tracks everything on your computer from emails you send out, to things you post on community site, to the things you buy online. Regardless of how much you try and hide what others can see from your actions you still leave a trail of info behind on those sites that will point back to you if you're constantly going online and doing things from multiple sites. No one is truly invisible when they're online and it's foolish to think otherwise. If you want to badmouth consoles then that's fine since I can just shelve you off with the other "PC master race" folks but I'm honestly surprised you still come online if you have this much of a problem with online privacy.

The original Rare Studio Staff created some of the greatest pearls of video game history. Donkey Kong, Banjo Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Golden Eye 007. I mean my expectations are high on this one. I truly hope this will be a very great enjoyable project and product for all of us that had fun with their past games and newcomers to Rare aswell!
