Question,
You go on 2fort and everybody is having a party in the sewer, the whole damn server are having a picnic with sandvich and conga.
You get told to not kill as "we are friendly". So, in your best admin voice you say "not going for the objective is kickable/bannable"
The reply you get is "we are all here, and no-one minds, if someone complains we will stop"
What do you do next?

The rule specifically states;

These actions may result in bans, silences, or other punishments;

...refusing to help advance your teams position

I let the players continue, as they are not refusing anything. Since no one minds, or has asked them to stop, they are not breaking any rule. Once someone complains and they decide to continue on, then that would count as refusal. But until then, there is no breaking of the rules.

They are also not harming the team as no one is trying to advance the position so there technically is no team to harm.

Thank you very much for giving me another chance.

You have already told them that what they are doing is against the rules, basically you told them to play properly, so someone minds.. you. What about telling them to join idle or trade if they don't want to play the objective? At some point there will be someone who complains, and there may be players who leave without saying anything,
You see, I led you up the garden path by emphasising certain words, making you think that I wanted the answer you gave.

You sly dog.

When creating my response, I actually considered that possibility, among many others. I took it as you were trying to help me with the underlining, and trying to trick me with the question. The way you wanted me to answer could create an argument where the player would say " Im not breaking the rules, so you cant tell me to leave". I feel that me telling them to stop does not count as complaining, as me saying that would be forcing the players to break the rules, and as an admin, that would be unjust. There are many ways to interpret your question, and through my eyes, both yours and my course of action are correct

Exactly, it's situational.

It probably happens because you have multicore rendering enabled in options. Try disabling it and try to skip to that tick again. It should work. After you are done with the demo, re-enable multicore rendering again due to crappy frame rates. Let me know if that helped.

I do indeed have it enabled. I will have to try that. Thank you very much!

A demoman who is setting up stickys at a wall in spawn. The "goto" function kept crashing my game for some reason, so I had to fast foward manually. If any of you could explain this, that would be great.
In general, trying to do a playback on any demo can cause crashes. ~90% of the time it doesn't, but that other 10% you'll just have to re-launch and try again.

The important thing is that you know where to put them and how to play them, and if someone were to tell you, "pay close attention to tick xxxx", you'd be able to know where that is. And you seemed to do fine in that regard.

He's not fit for admin. He is rude and I will guarantee he will abuse his power. Just my thoughts -1
Lets not start an arguement about this, but you have been about 5,000 times more rude to me then I have to you.

Please do not reply to sushipaste. He just wants attention.

I had a feeling you were just looking for attention. And coward much trying to silence me cause I'm keeping you from getting admin status

I hope what sushi paste said did not me go to improve. Im not sure why he said what he did, but it is completely off the truth. Hopefully I was tagged for my answers to the questions, and I can completely respect that. If it was because of what he said, then so be it.

Hey there.

The concensus was reached following a thorough discussion between the admin team.
At the moment we do not think you would be suitable for this position, due to many factors which we may discuss privately if you wish.
It wasn't at all because of what SushiPaste posted.

Good day.

Alrighty, thanks for the clarification and thank goodness! If it is not too much trouble, I would greatly wish to discuss these factors.
