I thought we could have two Subforums in Admin Applications: one for accepted and one for rejected applications (declined or 'improve').

The reasons behind this would be:
  • Only keep open / processing apps in the main board so that forum people know which apps are active.
  • Have a board with the accepted admin apps to serve as "examples".
  • Makes the whole thing tidier and more organised since declined apps constitute 65% of the subforum, and they merely hide other threads.
Please vote in the poll and pinch in your opinion.

I love this idea, it would tidy everything up and end in less necrobumping.

The idea is great. People will be able to check approved apps out and learn from those Applications (e.g. requirements, questions/answers). Plus what has been already said, everything will be tidier. No long search for good apps that you can reference to.

Seems like a great idea, SteamRep does it and they have a very clean application section.
Edit: Also this would mean all the older apps that never got marked would have to get marked Closed, which would take a while.

We can mass-tag apps, and if Bott decides to add the sub forums, I can volunteer to make the thread transfers.

+1. Not to repeat what everyone else said, but there are mostly declined admin applications so filtering them out would make it very easy to read the applications that were accepted, etc.

I don't see the point of this.

The whole point of thread prefixes is to allow people to see which ones are active. You can filter threads by clicking on the prefix.

It isn't our problem if people can't figure out how to make a decent admin app. If anyone's app is inactive, it will drop from the front page, or we can specifically tag it as inactive.
