The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series is a series of rougelike, top-down dungeon crawlers where you basically take a 4-mon team of your own Pokemon into a dungeon in order to fight/recruit enemy Pokemon, find randomly generated treasures, or complete specific quests like rescuing a Pokemon or catching an outlaw. All of the moves in series (Gen 5 and under) are reformatted to fit nicely with the dungeon crawling experience. If there's one thing that this series excels at compared to other Pokemon titles, it's the plot. The plot for these games are well-done and go beyond the simple goal of the being the Pokemon master, all of them start out with an amnesiac human being turned into a Pokemon and being sent to the Pokemon World and it goes on from there often taking very dark turns. There's a reason why a lot of fans consider "Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky" to be the darkest and edgiest game in the series. I've loved this series since Red/Blue Rescue Team came out in 2006 and highly recommend it for any RPG fan.Can you give me a summary of what the game is about? Like what you actually do? I know there had been some Rescue Team games, but what exactly are they about. Thanks in advance!
To be honest tho, gates to infinity is the worst in the series.
