lag comparisons between all major controllers.
Other than the Gamecube controller *which was the obvious winner of that comparison* is there much difference with the other controllers? I feel like the Classic controller would have the most lag but my Wii remote batteries are kill so I can't check for myself.

I didn't notice anything.

But if I had to make a list, it'd be

Gamecube > Classic Pro > Pro > Gamepad

Classic pro has the octagonal gates, and pro is a gamepad without a giant screen in the middle.

Meh, I can't really play with the Classic Pro, it feels too light and uncomfortable.

My list of controllers to use would have to be
Pro > Gamecube > Gamepad > Classic Pro.

Thanks for that comparison btw.

shove it up your ass

In Street Fighter, the scrub labels a wide variety of tactics and situations “cheap.” This “cheapness” is truly the mantra of the scrub.

Read the article. The book in general is good too. Diddy is quite good but certainly beatable. Complaining about it doesn't solve anything, though.
Smash falls back to player skill vs the character chosen.

He didn't say that Diddy is even close to unbeatable. He has beaten almost every Diddy that he has fought, he was just talking about how annoying Diddy is to fight. Which is kinda true, Diddy can be an annoying little fucker.

I was calling diddy kong annoying, he is not broken.

and, in smash characters in smash are not equal. if two people are fighting and they've both mastered the character they are using. the character who is playing the higher tiered character has higher odds of winning, it's undeniable.

Nope, player skill trumps it.

Mango beating Hax's fox with Falcon, who's lower tier

DJNintendo beating Unknown's Fox with Bowser, worst tier in melee

Certainly, picking a higher tier character can confer a technical advantage, but it is by no means set in stone.
I can play fox (debated #1 char in melee) vs the #1 player in South Carolina's DK (#17 on the current tier list),
and I still would be at a disadvantage despite fox's superiority, simply due to my lack of player skill in comparison to his.

Other examples are Fly Amanita (Ice Climbers), aMSa (Yoshi), Axe (Pikachu), Bizarro Flame (Ganon), The Green Ranger (DK), to name a few.

That DJ Nintendo match got me into comp smash.

This argument is dumb, Diddy Kong can be annoying but is beatable, nobody said he wasn't, Shoe was just saying that. Player skill is very important but Shoe meant if both players are equally skilled the player using the higher tier character would have an advantage, which is true but of course this doesn't determine the victor of the battle.

Dude.
Wobbling is the stupidest thing in melee. Fly Amanita actually uses crazy handoffs and creative stuff, as well as he has the best sopo.
...
Bizarro Flame is the one true ganon. Watch Bizarro Flame vs Strain, Bizarro Flame vs Ken at KoC4.
That man exudes style in all of his movement and gameplay. Kage is just good.

Wobbles is still good, watch Forte 2. He wobbled once or twice the entire tournament.

Bizzaro may style, but Kage is the one putting in the work
