Mildly Menacing Medic
Servers:
HIGHTOWER+ | US | Fast
Time:
I play about every other day, normally more, and play an hour or two on the weekends.
Hlstats:
Will you get mad if you lose admin?:
No, I would ask for a reason (calmly) and might defend myself, however if I get it the only good reason I could possibly think of would be inactivity.
How do you ban your own SteamID?:
sm_ban "#[U:1:124865411]" 30 "obvious aimbot"
Any other reason you should be admin:
I have experience moderating a server from the Gmod community I am high up in. I have been in that community for 2 years (approx.) and have never been demoted.
I may have messed up the ban part of the application because we always use the steamID that looks like: STEAM_0:1:62432705 on gmod. I can learn commands, and know what is fair instinctively. I just got back into TF2, and will be playing on a regular basis now.

I would like to link you to:

(note: don't mind headphones' -1, he doesn't like me because I got mad at him because he was being a jerk to a kid trying to help kids get through bullying)

and my time on the server I have staff on:

Forgot about this, but I am in EST and it won't let me update because of the links.

Personally, I would give a -1. You have only 35 hours total on Skial. You have literally just made your forum account TODAY. You need to establish yourself a bit more before you should even consider applying for such a thing.

I agree with genocide, although you have experience running GMOD servers you run short in handling Team Fortress 2 servers and conflicts (although the two may not be that different). That and 35 hours does fall short. And again, activity on the forums really does show support and responsibility, but since you created your Skial account today, it is much to soon for us to label you as "Admin Material" -1 for now until more evidence is shown

I think it's been clarified WAY too many times that time nor forum activity matter when applying for admin, especially forum activity since this individual is applying for server admin. We usually expect at least 3 days but it isn't required. He has no bans or communication blocks on his name and has gotten the ban command correct on the first attempt. Like I said, 3 days isn't a requirement, more so an expectation so once I see that you've accumulated said time, I'll +1, for now, it's +0. Where to go from here?

  • Try making an introduction, maybe get to know people better, one way Skial assesses staff is by seeing how well you can make friends with others, this is a great way to do so.
  • Get individuals on servers you are regular on to vouch for you, if they do, then we can tell you make friends easily on Skial
Best of luck!

You are right, gmod servers are different to staff than TF2 servers. Gmod servers are more difficult. I read the rules, and I have punished for everything on there and more on gmod. I also read the staff cmds page, and I have used the ULX equivalent of every command. Gmod servers require CONSTANT moderation and attention by staff, and staff have to look at logs every round to look for RDM (team kills basically) which aren't in TF2.

I have decided I don't have time to play on two servers regularly with school work and extra-curricular activities. I will apply again when I have time and have been playing for a month or so.
