Will you get mad if you lose admin?:
I think I'd just get on with it, nothing can stop me from enjoying the deathrun servers and I've been playing on them for a long time, so admin is just really an 'extra',​
How do you ban your own SteamID?:
sm_ban "#[U:1:108764638]" 30 "Obvious aimbot"
Any other reason you should be admin:
Since I was shown your deathrun servers from a friend a long time ago, I was instantly hooked to the gamemode and your two servers (US first then later on EU if the US one wasn't full).

Since I play on them a lot, I've gotten to know many of the players and have realised slowly that they are not often moderated and have found people to be breaking rules whilst we all have to put up with attempted votebans or kicks which often do nothing.

I think since I am basically hooked to these servers I'll be able to not only enjoy being there, also enjoy being in the knowledge that I'm helping to keep my favourite servers safe from any discernible rulebreakers; and to put my many hours of Team Fortress 2 and deathrun into action to help people and to keep them safe.

I think I see what's wrong, I think that the ID is fine but I did forget to put brackets between it, so it would end up being sm_ban "[#U:1:108764638]" 30 "Obvious aimbot"

Still not quite right. You're on the right track though.
 
Just saw when testing around with the status command in console and staring at it deeply, that the hash isn't actually in the ID, but the way to do it is to put it outside, so I think, finally, that the answer is
: sm_ban "#[U:1:108764638]" 30 "Obvious aimbot"

Isn't experimentation awesome? ;)

While I do not see anything against the rules in your chat it is better to client mute instead of complaining about it as this achieves no good solution.

What I meant was in the interest of somebody who wouldn't know what to do or how to make a demo etc etc or if somebody who was competent enough wasn't there. It's also in the interest of the votemenu system which would add a limit to when you could do it if your previous vote failed etc. This also applies to people who are too lazy to make a demo, make a forum account which leaves people to break even minor rules (spamming etc...) It also comes to a point where collecting evidence would not be sufficient, for example, if somebody voicechatted a racist comment which would require pre-recording to pick up on.
 
You have the option to add admins so if something does happen, you can contact them. If anyone spams binds, says racist/homophobic things, or blatantly admits to vote abuse, get their info here and report them: http://stats.skial.com/stats/hlstats.php

Also, I've seen you on the server before. In my own opinion, I don't think you're ready for admin just yet. Last time I was on with some friends, you did some questionable things. Now, whether you still do those things or not, I don't know. But I'm not really willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. For now, I'm going to have to go with a -1. Like I said, this is my own opinion.

Thanks for your message :) What I meant even further is that a presence of somebody like an admin in a server, in my opinion, would not only cause people who break rules to be dealt with instantly, having somebody there would also help to prevent rulebreakers also, which is why the presence of one is important too so they can have their "Finger on the pulse" of what's happening; of course this is all in my opinion of what an admin or moderator or whatever other synonym should be.

And again, thanks for your advice, although I can assure my maturity etc is improving this OBVIOUSLY won't stop minor things from happening, for example, I have a nasty habit of spamming the map which I'd like when voting time comes; but hey, nobody's perfect. Thanks for the message! :-)
 
This guy is really nice in the servers, he is funny and friendly and helpful and he would be good admin <3

I understand. And congrats on not raging and calling me cuss-word names. Most people do that when they get criticized. Anyways, for now I'm going to do a +0. Good luck on your app.
