Declined Make doing the Medic taunt in the pool in Jailbreak be considered Griefing

There has been much debate over whether this is allowed on Jailbreak, and it has been said by some of the admins that this is allowed. However, I think this should be considered griefing because the noise it makes is very loud and obnoxious, and there is no way to avoid hearing it. I have heard multiple players complain about it and even seen freedays doing it be killed to make them stop. If this isn't going to be considered Griefing, at least make it clear if it is allowed or not.

I say it's completely fine. You can always ask whoever's doing it to stop if it gets abusive.
 
If some guy does it once or twice, I don't see a problem

But if they're doing it again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again....

I don't see how it couldn't be considered griefing/spamming at that point.

True. Same applies for spamming Casurina's Arena buttons so we get a "3..2..1.." spam through the map speakers, although the frequency is way lower with the taunt.

I've never slayed for that but I sometimes msay and tell the guy to do something else.

At least I can't imagine an official ruling to that.

The reason I made this thread is because some people would just go and do it the entire round, and when we asked them to stop, they would always say, "It's allowed, stop complaining," or something like that.
If it gets excessive, I want to know if starting a vote would be allowed or not, or possibly even a report if it is excessive enough (multiple rounds for the entire time).

I wouldn't mind a vote slay (only if it gets too excessive).
Since if no admin is on, that is the only thing that will make them stop.
 
I used to spam this stuff ages ago, but I didn't realize it was still going on. Honestly a voteslay should work if it pisses off enough people.
 
I'm surprised Valve hasn't fixed it already.

side note: I'm not sure, but I think the Rancho Relaxo taunt's sounds don't diminish in volume in relation to distance
 
I want a jesus outfit for my medic and go baptise friendly heavies in the pool of light, they will learn the error of their ways through the trial of water.
