Let me introduce you: Generic Tradebot, created for (smelting,) scrapbanking and selling weapons., it has been working since 2013. Designed to being a low traffic bot, so most of the time is able to trade, and always has metal for scrapbanking.

AI Description
  • Buys 2 common (unique) tf2 weapons for 1 scrap
  • Sells each weapon for 1 scrap
How to use
  1. Send friend request (steam://friends/add/76561198075507451) or join this chat room steam://friends/joinchat/103582791435929335 , if you don't want to add the bot
  2. Send trade request
  3. On Trade Window
    1. Add the items you want to sell
    2. Type add <weapon_name> or <weapon_name> to buy items, e.g. add huntsman or huntsman
    3. Type remove <weapon_name> to remove <weapon_name> from trade
    4. Also you can drag items you want to buy in the same fasion as backpack.tf card swap bot
  4. Add metal
  5. ???
  6. Accept the trade!

Bot reports an error and closes out trade when ever I put metal into the trade. Something I am doing wrong?
