Hello, fellow Skialites!

Today, I bring you a new version of the jailbreak rules!

Amalgamated by Sroy , Grima , Avenger , CDAWG , Drum .

This version of the rules suits the current audience much better I find, as arguments always break out about silent rules and loopholes. It can be a real hell for admins, and we feel as though some of the admins that do main jailbreak understand how bad it can be sometimes. With that, I rewrote the jailbreak rules using all of our ideas together and made quite a few updates, without much room for loopholes. Please, take a gander and maybe you will enjoy the ideas. If you have any suggestions for this suggestion, feel free. I feel as though this is kind of an urgent issue with the current state of jailbreak and a new influx of players during the summer.

So without further adieu, here it is! (https://ghostbin.com/paste/257y6)

Skial Jailbreak Rules!
All you need to know about Skial Jailbreak!
-------------------------------------------

Simple Version:

General:
- A warden is picked at the beginning of every round from a queue.
- To make this queue fair, instead of it being random, it goes in order of who connected.
- The warden gives orders to the reds, if they do not follow, they get killed by blues.
- If you do not want to be on blue team, type !q
- Dead people may give NO information on the game through chat or it will be punished as ghosting.
- The last prisoner that is not a rebel, gets a lr, which can be Freeday for him and one other next round or doing a specific game next round.
- After the LR is granted, all reds may be killed.
- Breaking any rules results in a ban, silence, or slay depending on the kind of offense and severity.
- All regular server rules apply to jailbreak.

Red Team:

- You must follow orders from the warden on blue team.
- If you do not, you will die.
- Rebelling is an option, it includes hitting guards, making them incapacitated, refusing to go places, ect.
- You may rebel, as long as you realize the risks and expect no mercy.
- Your goal is to survive to the end of the orders and get Last Request (Lr), or rebel and kill all the blues.
- AFK is not an automatic order, but staying in your cell for at least 30 seconds until orders are given is.

Blue Team:

- You must kill anyone not following the wardens orders.
- You may not kill or hit reds for no reason, that is freekilling or freehitting.
- You may kill any red with ammo unless otherwise specified by the warden.

Warden:

- You must give the reds orders and kill all who do not follow.
- You may kill your guards if you see they are doing something bad along the lines of greifing or not enforcing your orders.
- You may not kill your guards for no reason, that is also freekill.
- You must give the last person LR.
- If there was an LR last round, you must grant it as long as it is in the boundries of valid stated above.
- Orders CAN be given through text on our server!

Complex Version:

General:
- Staying inside the invincible room in Casuarina (The one that no one can get in except 1 person, and then no one else), for the entire round is slayable.
- You may only stay in the armory for 1 minute at a time unless it is surrounded by the opposing team.
- Reds and blues cannot help each other, it is griefing. If your friend is on red, use !q. (This includes extreme mercy, helping people rebel, ect.)
- AFK means mouse, taunting, and healing too, and is not freekilling.
- Using illegitimate means to "butt in line" using an exploit, will be punished.

Red:
- Using the tardis to get into armory is still killable and not freekill.
- Getting consumables from last round on red is exploiting and will be punished.
- Freeday =/= Ammo unless specified.
- Detouring or Delaying an order is also killable and not freekill.
- Trying to break a entrance to armory is rebelling.

Blue:
- Starting a game or pressing buttons prematurely is helping the other team and not allowed.
- Giving too much mercy and letting people who killed others live is also helping the other team.
- Giving a bit of mercy once in a while is still okay, just dont go too crazy.

Warden:
- No opinionated games. (Hat day, joke day, ect.)
- No warday / anarchyday / hunger games / hide n seek.
- No singling people out for orders.
- No freekilling orders, such as infinite wipeout.
- No AFK entire round orders.

Freeday:

General:
- FD automatically happens with no orders given at 7:30, if you leave your cell before that, blues may kill you.
- First day FD is a unrevokable freeday that happens on the first day of a new map.

Red:
- Can do any activity, but not hurt guards.
- Getting ammo is only okay when specified.

Blue:
- If ammo is allowed, you cannot kill for it.
- You cannot hit reds unless they did one of the above.

Warden:
- Can revoke FD whenever, even after the 7:30 mark is hit.

How to punish rulebreakers:

- Add one of the Admins or make an Account on Skial.com
- Gather evidence of them breaking the rules, as well as name and Steamid. (Further explained here: http://www.skial.com/threads/collecting-evidence-in-tf2.47782/)
- Make a report to the admin you added or make one on Skial.com in the reports section. (http://www.skial.com/forums/reports.38/)

(OPTIONAL RULES FOR THE SUGGESTION)
- The warden may permit ammo to freedays, but not let them kill other guards with no punishment.
- No line games, they are too confusing and cause a lot of accidental killing.
- Freedays are for everyone or LRs only, no favoritism. ~Seth

Admins who actively enforce rules on jailbreak:
Sroy (http://steamcommunity.com/id/TrueSroy/)
CDAWG (http://steamcommunity.com/id/WELCOMETOCDAWG/)
Grima (http://steamcommunity.com/id/TheFellDragon/)
Meowcenary (http://steamcommunity.com/id/meowcenary/)
Avenger (http://steamcommunity.com/id/doesheevenavenge/)
Map Maker (Go to him for all map related needs):
Drum (http://www.skial.com/members/drum.6225/)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We could also revise the server messages to include one about the rules being updated quite a lot.

I appreciate any time people put in to reading this, and I promise that even if some of these seem hard to enforce, the other Jailbreak-Reg admins and I will do our best to do so!'

Keep in mind suggestions are welcome, but the sooner this gets declined / approved the better. Just because of the current state of jailbreak.

This suggestion has been implemented. Votes are no longer accepted.
+1, specifies a bunch of things that used to confuse people and a bit more detailed!

"Free day can only be given through LR, te warden can not ive free days to all of his friends."
You also forgot to make a rule about singling players out.
Otherwise +1. I told you entered to invite me to the team speak when you were doing it.

Good suggestion, added to OP.
There is something about singling players out.

I think that wardens shouldn't be able to grant FDs with ammo because it leads to trouble. Obviously if they have ammo, what else are they going to do with it other than kill guards.
They can go sniper and grab ammo and air hump everyone for their freeday. It can be entertaining sometimes. On Creitin having ammo on freeday is very nice since that means you can go look for the jetpack. It usually leads to trouble, but not always.

It does lead to trouble, not every time but it sure does. I see wardens telling FDs with ammo that they can kill guards. I mean who does that!

+1 These rules seem to have much needed detail that could really make for more smooth gameplay when playing jailbreak

As someone who has never played jailbreak (but it sounds fun, and I'm interested), what kinds of orders does a warden give to the prisoners?

I still think there should be limits to what the warden can grant to the prisoners.
That's the whole point of being Warden. You own the fucking prison mate you can do what you want.

- The last prisoner that is not a rebel, gets a lr, which can be Freeday for him and one other next round or doing a specific game next round.
that's the only one I don't _fully_ agree with. You shouldn't be able to interfere with the next warden's day (bar having a freeday)

-instance beings-
prisoner gets lr
asks for bowling day next round
next warden has to follow it and loses part of his own warden round due to lr
-instance ends-

honestly I think anything inside LR that interferes with the next warden's warden day should be against the rules

say something about leaving games on (i.e. letting people die in fall game) but I guess that falls under freekilling orders
im dumb i dont know what I'm talking about

This is amazing! +1.
I suggest you mention that the 7:30 no-orders FD is irrevokable too.
I've always seen wardens come back a minute later and just try to cancel the FD reds got.
