If all you're going to do is act passive aggressive and make this more like the high school drama you think you're "saving us" from then just stop. If you had this a lot better made at the start you would've had better responses.
 
Thread title should be "The Internet is too Hostile". That way it's more accurate.

I'm still baffled why he would make this thread. People talk shit on the internet, it's nothing new, unless he's new to it.

Dude, it's the internet. If you don't want to get trolled or messed with on the internet, then duh, don't use the internet. And as Bottiger pointed out, most players are still in high school. Some, junior high. Every TF2 group is going to have people who are hostile to each other. It's called life. Just because there's a certain amount of people who are dicks in a group doesn't mean all of them are.

And just pointing this out but if you're complaining about people being hostile on the internet, doesn't that make you a bitchy high school kid? I'm not in high school anymore so I wouldn't know but just saying.

It's hard to take you seriously when you're not even dragging up the juicier drama that's happened in the past. Regardless, Skial is much more friendly than most of the forums/social websites that I go on. Most of the stuff, and I mean like 98% of the crap on here, isn't serious. Try out Tumblr where they tell you to kill yourself because you have a different opinion. There was also an incident where a Tumblr user killed the pet of another user because they thought the pet was being "abused". So please, Skial is not too hostile. Most of it is just trash talking teens.

As a community, we do not have a duty to make all of our players be nice to each other
We are definitely not going to enforce rules like "no swearing" or "do not be an ass", because not only it would take a LOT of moderation to enforce but it would pretty much kill us as a community. People don't want to play on servers where they are being nagged about having to stay nice in case there are children in the server.
As long as there is no trolling/racism involved, it's an online video game rated M and you are responsible for the content you are exposing yourself to
