No Russia was able to turn there side of the war around by Russian Winter time Stalin in-acted the not one step back program where if you where to abandon your post of cower in fear you would be made an example of and shot as a traitor.Over Time Russia pushed back Germany all the to Berlin(Mostly because Hitlers army was divided in 2 fighting a 2 front war).
 
on 2 fronts and also because the russians were making bunkers with their dead soldiers whilest catapulting the other dead bodies at the germans

Germany had a very damn good Army the only problem was Hitler being in the war room, for god sake his only military experience was being a Corporal in WW1.
