Welp, since I moved in to the Skial Trade NY server, I have noticed some things that, if changed, could make Skial trade serves better.

1) Do not allow f2p's to come onto the trade servers. They usually spam the chat trying to buy keys for their dirty pain trains (true story) and run around killing friendlies as a gibus/ provision goggle rage heavy or pyro. They really have nothing to contribute and are usually annoying to have around.

2) Have a friendly mode (!friendly), where you cannot kill or be killed. Many people want to be friendly but end up getting killed by some noob who comes to the server for the sole purpose of leveling up their stranges.

3) Make a rule that you cannot randomly trade people. I understand you can just ignore the trade, but it gets annoying when people keep randomly trading you over and over.

4) Bring back the pan although make it against the rules to spam with it. I see so many people who are new to the server saying in chat things like "wow, the pan is banned here :'(", etc. It can be used without being annoying.

5) Do not allow people with private backpack's onto the trade servers. I have noticed that, 99% of the time, people with private backpack's are normally scammers. They also tend to be the people who ask to spycrab in chat and then run when they lose or have fake raffles.

As for now, that's about all the suggestions I have. Thanks for taking this into consideration.

The pan was ban for a reason, being friendly is dumb, f2p fill the server hence it stayed alive, you answer your own problem in the third one, and don't spycrab. Also marked scammer are marked in game. -1 to all.

1. No, because you can't clearly define a f2p in all circumstances plus not all f2p are "useless" since they keep trade alive.
2. No, because killing others on Trade isn't a bad thing.
3. No, because pressing k isn't hard.
4. No, because then people will have difficulty discussing trades over sound of pans.
5. No, because scammers are marked in-game.

Well, the server is always full, and I know of many times where I couldn't get in because have the people on the server are f2p's. There is no point in keeping a trade server alive if the people who go on it have basically nothing to trade. If f2p's are not allowed on the server, actual traders may be able to come on and the trade server. "being friendly is dumb" is just your opinion, yet many people who go on the server are friendly, so I think I friendly mode can be useful. The pan was banned because of noise spam. If you allow the pan yet make it against the rules to spam it, there is no problem. Spycrabbing is big part of trade servers. Most scammers who I have seen aren't even marked...

Can you say why you don't agree with my suggestions?

1) F2P Keep our servers alive, even trade. No.
2) This suggestion is the best of the 5, but some people go on trade TO FIGHT, so no.
3) Almost impossible to enforce and can easily be dismissed.
4) Banning the pan is easier than enforcing the no spam rule, and people would be banned from the server too much. Just use stock, it's the same.
5) We have Steamrep for that and some people come to play not trade. No.

As a server admin, that sounds like it would be a pain in the ass to enforce. I'd either need to see it first-hand or see a demo of it. Plus, people would get really shitty if they got banned for "pan spam", which just adds to the work since you have to listen to their whining then.

oh, and, to the admins reading this, I am pretty sure there is a raffle scam going on right now with a guy named the dark kNight, so, maybe you guys can check that out. His bp is private, his name is very common, and he is raffling an item with a really low entry fee, just some sighs that it is probably a scam.

The F2P detection plugin is broken. It is impossible to detect who is F2P.

Will it be fixed? I'm just wondering.

Also, -1 to all of it. It's a trade server. People go there to trade and play. Sure, it gets annoying from time to time when you're having a sniper battle for items or something but if you don't like it, just find another server or something. Also, there have been times when some players got together to have a "friendly area". So there's really no point to having a !friendly command.

2) Could be good for spycrabbing, so the enemy team can't disturb the spies
Or, the spies can be on the same team and spycrab in their spawn.

Well, I understand where you are coming from with that.

If it fills, it stays, doesn't matter if it's full of f2p, you can just have autojoin enable while you're waiting and get yourself some snack.

Isn't there a plug-in that kicks F2Ps if the server is full and a premium is trying to join?

we need an admin, it's definitely a raffle scam. Before he said there were 10 slots and he is still taking entries after all 10 were filled.

Make a report in the reports section so an admin will easily see and handle. Most admins might not be watching this thread.
