Anybody who says you aren't judged for something whether in real life or online is a liar. You are judged for everything you do, if you say stupid shit, people are going to think you're stupid. If you say intelligent shit people are going to think you're smart. There's nowhere you can post stuff and not be judged, anywhere claiming to be is lying to you.

Honestly, I really doubt anyone here cares what a person with 1,000+ hours on TF2 thinks of you, which is the majority of the people on this site. I like unmod because no one there cares about what someone else posts, it's just useless shit 95% of the time. I'd rather the useless threads and conversations be kept in unmod instead of elsewhere in the forum.

And the racism thing is outright stupid. The rules on the servers regarding racism are pretty broken, a ban/gag shouldn't be issued for saying a word. I understand this is used for defense against actual racists, but really, 1/100 people who get banned for saying the N word are actually racist. The same shouldn't be carried over to the forums, especially not unmod. Just leave the place alone, it's as easy as not clicking on the link.
 
No. Having an Unmod section allows people to blow of steam. Most "tension" created there nowadays blows over after a while and there's really no "bad feelings created between users" that last longer than a few days. It's a place where people can do stupid stuff without having retarded repercussions attached.

People need to let off steam once in a while without suffering the wrath of point happy admins. Just my thoughts.

What do I know though, like I said, haven't been on here in a long time.

It doesn't matter if they are actually racist. Skial has a zero tolerance policy on racism INCLUDING racial slurs. I think this should be extended to all subforums.

I'm not saying people care what people think of them, I'm just saying you're wrong if you think you aren't being judged for posts in unmod.

-1 5 pages and I still haven't really gotten a do all really legitimate reason to remove it. I see it as no harm and only those with accounts can see it, so we really aren't harming newbies unless they want to become regs
 
yea^ too bad no accounts can see unmod. I open up private browsers and I can't go to the Skial Tit or ass thread without logging in again and doing steamguard shit in private browsing, which i dont do since it is too long.
