Yes, please, we don't need idiots and blatant racism or anything like that reigning supreme without any prejudice.
Not to mention there's been illegal activity going on in there recently... I wouldn't want stuff like that infesting ANY part of the Skial forums.. yo.

I think I've flip flopped on this numerous times, but I still like the idea of it as long as it stays hidden to non-logged in users. Remember the original reason it was made was because there so much crap going on in threads and we decided to try and funnel it into one section. I agree that there have been times it's "leaked out", but I contend that it would have happened anyways. Ideally in a professional setting you know how to limit your audience and it would have gone in the private messages, but obviously that didn't happen before. People don't just magically stop becoming assholes on the internet. Even though this a gaming community, I don't think we've ever been THAT strict topic wise and as long as the funnel is built in such a way that you need to go into the section manually to see anything, I don't see an issue with it.
I would rather have trolls trolling where I don't care rather than in public facing threads. Even though we delete messages, they still are visible for some period of time and might turn people off.

Whatever. I'd be fine if unmod was forced to follow our general rules (racism, illegal stuff, personal info) and just used to 'shit post' or reply to things outside of unmod that were locked/removed.

there may be a few threads than can be moved elsewhere.

You've been a mod too long, normal folks cant see the deleted messages except in trade.
I'm referring to the time it's still up and visible to everyone before it gets deleted.

Most of the threads in unmod are just people being stupid and posting silly things that they can't necessarily post in General. There really is no drama, leave unmod alone, it's the one place people can post and not get judged.

To me, unmod feels like the lovechild of Topix and Tumblr. A little watered down, but still just as trashy.
