I think its in use. If you try to switch it will say "[SM] [Name] is trying to stack teams. For shame!" but it only helps slow them down

I thought so. Honestly, if people are getting around it, I figure we should just let them. Most people will give up after getting that message. If team stacking happens in spite of that, well... oh well. It's not really something that can viably be enforced.
I've suffered my fair share of stacked teams. I've been on and against stacked teams on pretty much every server. Best one I found for scrambles was TN's Foundry server, and you know what? Stacked teams still happened.

Yeah cause that NEVER happens to anyone else here. If he would have just come in and asked instead of "screw you guys im going home and taking my ball with me" approach, maybe the responses would be a little nicer.
To the OP good luck finding servers that you occasionally get on a team that gets beat up. Every other FPS I have played goes through this.

I've played with DerekAtHome rather often, and he's quite a nice guy. Zeebs has too, for that matter. While making an ultimatum might not be the best thing to do, it would be more helpful if people explain why the situation is complicated and difficult to fix, rather than immediately blowing up the thread with "lol look dis idiot".
Yes, we know all the regulars have seen these threads a million times. But you can't advertise "Hey, come to our gigantic TF2 community and forum over at skial.com!" and then find it full of unhelpful people being jerks because they've all been around each other long enough to be okay with it. It's intimidating to a new person who just wants to post here about something they think is an issue without having to spend months making an introduction thread and getting to know everyone before they can make a point and have it be taken somewhat seriously.

It's common sense that you shouldn't walk into a place of people you don't know and act like an asshole. I don't know why people are defending his actions.
He may not have exactly walked in and decided to say "Hey, let's sit down and talk about this in a civilized manner" but flaming him doesn't exactly make us look good either.

I'll be damned if I am expected to behave a certain way. It's a different matter if you are an admin or something but as a regular Skial user, I don't honestly care about any fuck that comes in here like an asshole and complains about stupid shit like we're supposed to care about his whining. He is throwing a fucking temper tantrum and if you let children have their way with temper tantrums it just encourages them to do it more. So no, we ARE justified in calling him out because he didn't give us any courtesy so we shouldn't give him any either.
Pretty sure even if an admin posted a thread in that tone he/she would have been mocked.

Well what I meant was as an official community representative, I feel admins should be more official in their responses. But that's up to them I guess. I always tried to be civil about everything when I was an admin.

People play on servers with their friends. People do not want to play on opposing teams as their friends. If the servers are terribly stacked, there are fifty million other skial servers to hop onto.
It sucks being on the unstacked team (in my opinion it also sucks being on the stacked team) but it's just something in any "competitive" video game you're going to have to deal with. Making a threatening post benefits nobody.

You're an anomaly then. A large portion of people who play together want to be on the same team, it's just how it is.
