Steam detected I finally found someone who'd buy the game I was selling and immediately shut down all servers.

Mine said it was up, opened the Friends List, list immediately went offline citing "Routine maintenance" as the cause.
Prognosis: Not good
Suggested course of action: Scream and run around in circles until the servers come back up and/or faints from exhaustion.
